Review: Kiss Nail Dress

PROS:  Incredibly easy to apply, looks spectacular, lasts for a long time, great variety of designs

CONS: Slight peeling at the tips after a few days


I'm not a manicure person.  For those of you who don't know, I was born with a three-fingered right hand, which generates a lot of (well-meant) questions at salons, which just isn't something I'm always in the mood for.  So when Influenster sent me the Kiss Nail Dress for free in my Love VoxBox, I was excited to try out a product that could give me salon results without actually going to a salon.  Well, Kiss Nail Dress delivered!


I received an adorable design called "Cocktail," which looks almost exactly like the design to the left, but the zebra stripes are a hot pink.  The package contains 28 nail strips (so if you mess up, it's okay!), and I actually have enough left over after one use to do both hands again.  There are a wide range of sizes included, so you'll easily be able to find some that fit your nails.  The product also comes with a small emery board for filing down the nail strips for a perfect fit.

I found that the easiest way to apply the Kiss Nail Dress was to press the strips on clean nails and smooth outwards as they suggest, and then use my trusty nail scissors to cut the strip very close to my actual nail.  Then, I used the included emery board to file down whatever was left, and ta-da!  Perfect fit!

I've been wearing these for a full week now, and I couldn't be happier with them.   Aside from a very small amount of peeling around the tips, the Kiss Nail Dress is sticking strong.  As for that peeling, I just either pulled it or snipped it off!  Since the color of my product is similar to my own nails, you can't really even tell.  I could see how this might present a problem with some of the other designs, though!

Apparently, these also work on toenails.  My toenails are really tiny, so I haven't tried that, but I'm sure they would look fantastic there, too!

I have gotten so many compliments on my nails over the last week, and I've been telling everyone about Kiss Nail Dress.  With no drying time, super-easy application, a wide variety of designs, and how long they last, I really can't find a reason not to use these!  They look great, feel natural on my nails, and are an all-around genius product!
